Survived Cape York without a scratch
Took the Jayco up to Cape York in the dry season and the D-Flector copped an absolute hammering on the corrugations north of Cooktown. Not a single chip on the front of the van. Had it fitted in about 10 minutes. Chuffed with it.

Good guard, mesh collects gunk though
Solid build and fits well on the Crusader. Does a good job stopping stones on the A-frame. Only gripe is the mesh collects a heap of road crud — bugs, dust, little stones stuck in the weave. Needs a decent hose-down after any gravel road. Minor thing but worth mentioning.
Gibb River Road tested
Did the Gibb in July and the bulldust and stones were relentless. The D-Flector kept everything off the front panel and protected the gas bottles. Stones deflect downward which is exactly what you want. Only took a star off install because the instructions could be clearer.

Done the job on the Oodnadatta
Had the D-Flector on our Kokoda for over a year now. Did the Oodnadatta Track and Birdsville Track back to back with zero stone damage. The 3-year warranty's a nice touch. Happy with the purchase.

Decent but needed adapters for our setup
Crossed the Great Central Road from Laverton to Yulara. Protection was good but fitting it to the Bushtracker's wider A-frame wasn't straightforward — had to get adapters made up which added cost and time. Once sorted it's solid. Would've been nice if they made a wider model.

Stops the highway stone chips
We were getting terrible stone chips on the Silverline's front panel, especially behind trucks on the Bruce Highway. D-Flector's fixed that. No drilling required which was a selling point for me. Only wish it came in a colour other than silver.
Tanami Track survivor
The Tanami is brutal and the D-Flector handled it well. Nothing got through to the front panel. The permanent mount means I just hook up and go. Only thing — after the Tanami the mesh was caked in red dust and took a fair bit of cleaning.

Good for Tassie roads
Even on Tassie's sealed roads you get stone throw from trucks. D-Flector's kept the Avan's front wall in good nick. Installation was a doddle — about 10 minutes with basic tools.
Savannah Way — no dramas
Did the Savannah Way from Cairns to Broome and the front of the van still looks factory fresh. Permanent mount means no faffing about at every stop. Good gear.

Good protection, a bit bulky looking
Does the job well on the Kedron — protected the front on the Gibb no worries. Build quality is solid. My only gripe is it looks a bit industrial sitting on the A-frame permanently. The missus reckons it's ugly. But it works, so there's that.

Solid but the jockey wheel access is tight
The D-Flector's well made and does its job on the highway. Only problem is on our Journey it sits close to the jockey wheel, making it awkward to wind up and down. Not a dealbreaker but something to check before you buy depending on your van's layout.
18 months around Australia — no issues
Did the full lap over 18 months. The D-Flector went through everything from the Nullarbor to Cape York to the Gibb. Zero stone damage on the front panel. It's been reliable.

Works well but fitting wasn't 10 minutes for me
The protection is great — no arguments there. But fitting took me closer to 30 minutes on the Rhinomax. The A-frame shape didn't quite match the stock mounting brackets. Had to fiddle around a bit. Once it was on though, rock solid.
Well made but coverage could be wider
Solid build quality and easy install on the Avida. Protects the A-frame area well. I reckon a Stone Stomper would give better coverage across the full front though — the D-Flector only covers the lower A-frame section. For highway use it's great.
Cape York — zero damage
Second trip to Cape York with the D-Flector and once again, zero damage to the front wall. No drilling installation means I didn't modify the van at all.
